For the sales office in Kuala Lumpur we are looking for a motivated Sales Manager (m/w/d) who helps to develop the market in Malaysia and for several products in all asian countries.
The position will include market- and customeranalysis, customer care activities, acquiring new clients (usually via distributors and wholesalers), maintaining and expanding the customer base, carrying out advertising campaigns, accompanying trade fairs, visiting companies, coordinating customer requirements with the development department in germany and introducing new products. The development of new markets is one of the challenging tasks.
After successful initial phase, the assumption of further responsibility is planned.
- commercial, technical or chemical qualification, bachelor's degree in business, science or engineering
- or comparable qualification in connection with experience in international sales with focus on Asia
- significant experience in sales executive role (chemicals, automotive, metal industries, commerce or similar)
- business fluent English
- readiness for location Malaysia
- high affinity for using current technologies (e.g., video conferencing)
- sales talent and high customer orientation
- communication and team skills
